We are a new, small business to the Plainfield area. Our boutique is located near the corner of 4 Mile Road & Plainfield Avenue. We sell new items, like gifts, home decor, and women's clothing. We also have a men's, children's, and furry friends section. Stop in to see us sometime! :)

Our Mission
Communicare Michigan, LLC is dedicated to providing brain injury survivors and individuals with other neurological impairments the skills and supports necessary to attain their highest level of functioning and quality of life in a supportive and community environment.
About Us
We are Communicare Michigan!
Not only are we a unique gift boutique, but we are also a medical-based facility that works with brain injury survivors. The Care Boutique is one of Communicare Michigan's three locations and is a unique site that offers a vocational work program, therapy, and rehabilitation services for adult survivors of Traumatic Brain Injury.
We feature items in-store that are hand made by the clients in their vocational work programs, and are labeled with our special CMI brain logo. The proceeds from the boutique support the resources and rehabilitation success of our members!
Rehabilitation Programs at The Care Boutique
One of the resources we offer to our clients are Day Programs. In Day Program, our clients come in to the site for several hours out of the day for vocational therapy. This looks like different group-led activities, vocational tasks e.g. helping with inventory, and the production of different items for the store, all while earning a weekly paycheck.
CMI Summertime Favorites
Summer is beautifully blooming here at TCB! Our Moss Covered Letters & summer themed candles are current favorites in our Day Program activities. Hand-crafted with lots of love!
How do I know what products are client-made?
Our goal is to integrate the client-made products among the shelves throughout the store. This green sign will be posted in-store by the hand crafted items, and all will be labeled with a sticker of a green brain saying CMI and thank you for your support of the Traumatic Brain Injury community.
